AC contactor is an automatic switch. It is used for establishing or interrupting AC current circuit. AC contactor is mainly applied to control electromotor as well as other electric loads such as electric heat machine, electric welding machine and lighting equipments. Besides the above-mentioned function, AC contactor is also used as a protector by releasing low voltage.

AC contactor utilizes the main contact to open and close the circuit while uses the assistant contact to control return circuit. Contact is made of silver tungsten with good conductivity and high temperature resistance.
